Bi-Plane Ride in Key West, Florida

Bi-Plane Ride

The first airplane ride I ever took was in a bi-plane similar to this one. It's the best way to get the most excitement from flying other than joining the Blue Angels.

A bi-plane has a very tight turning radius and can make up-down moves quickly and in a shorter distance than a single winged airplane.

The open cock-pit is a great thrill, as well.

My favorite move was flying straight up and doing a hammer-head stall with a free, fall down to about 500 feet above ground then pulling out of the dive at the last few seconds before crashing head first into the ground.

The Key West flight would be a lot tamer, and you get to see the island and the surrounding water.

Of course, you have to use your seat belts and goggles for your eyes.
